Dress for Success Palm Beaches serves women in all of Palm Beach County who are entering or reentering the workforce. Our mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. We offer the following services, free of charge:

Suiting Program

We offer one full outfit (clothing, shoes, purse, jewelry and make-up) to women who are planning to interview for work. We offer one week's worth of clothing to women once they become employed. When women enter our "boutique, they are greeted by a personal shopper who helps them to select the perfect outfit. After suiting, clients are encouraged to sit with one of our career coaches to have their resume reviewed and/or to practice interviewing. Appointments are required for all suiting services.

Keys2Success Workshops

A series of one hour workshops dedicated to improving job readiness skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and job searching. (Currently held virtually through our Virtual Career Center). Pre-registration is required.

Road to Success

An eight-week job readiness program where women meet as a group once per week for three hours to cover a full range of topics. The program begins with either the DISC behavioral profile or the Strengthsfinder assessment. Future sessions cover resume writing, interview skills, LinkedIn, and Image and Personal Branding. Week seven includes a career panel and mock interviews. Participants present their personal vision boards during the final class. (Classes currently held virtually). Pre-registration is required.

Professional Women's Group (PWG)

PWG is designed for women once they become employed. Participants are invited to a 90 minute workshop once per month to cover topics that will help them continue to grow in their careers, such as leadership, conflict resolution, and effective negotiating. Pre-registration is required.

Most of the women that we serve are referred to us by other nonprofit agencies; over 80 are registered with us to make referrals. Women may call us directly as well. We just screen them to be sure their basic needs are being met and that they are truly work-ready. We serve any woman who is referred to us, i.e. we have no income requirements, etc. we ask suiting clients to arrive on time for their appointments. For our eight-week programs, we do screen clients up front to be sure that they are ready, willing and able to commit to the full program.
